CSE-CAT Schedule for Fourth Quarter of 2012
and Appearance of the Online CSE-CAT Application

Reservation System The Civil Service Commission (CSC), through the Examination, Recruitment and Placement Office (ERPO), is opening a total of thirty-two (32) schedules for the Career Service Examinations – Computer Assisted Test (CSE-CAT), Professional and Subprofessional levels for the fourth quarter of 2012, on the dates indicated below.

REMINDER: The CSC reserves the right to cancel any of the above schedules as may be necessary.

The application for examination is on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis. We shall only accept a total of 1,109 qualified CSE-CAT applicants through our Online CSE-CAT Application Reservation System (OCARS).

The opening of the OCARS is on September 17, 2012 (Monday) from 3:00 pm until the slots are already filled up. Once we have reached the total number of examinees for the above schedules, the OCARS shall be disabled.

Examinees who will pass this examination shall be granted the corresponding Career Service Professional or Subprofessional Eligibility and their names shall be entered in the Register of Eligibles. The Eligibles shall be qualified for appointment in government, provided they meet the qualifications and other requirements of the position.

Applicants who have taken the same level of examination within the last three (3) months are not qualified to take the examination, pursuant to CSC Resolution No. 1100300 dated March 1, 2011, which states that:

"There shall be no limit in taking the Career Service Examination, however, taking the same level of examination, professional or subprofessional, either through Paper-and-Pencil Test (PPT) or Computer-Assisted Test (CAT) shall be once in every three (3) months only”

Please be advised that the venue for the examination is at the CSC-Central Office, ASEAN Resource Center for Examination and Testing building, Diliman, Quezon City.
