LANDBANK Visa Debit Card

LANDBANK launched to the public its newest card product – the LANDBANK Visa Debit Card last February 26 in a ceremony held at the Diosdado Macapagal Hall, LANDBANK Plaza. The LANDBANK Visa Debit Card allows cardholders to enjoy the benefits of convenient, cashless purchases in retail stores and merchants worldwide.

A partnership with Visa, the card also enables cardholders to withdraw local currency from any of 2 million ATMs in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. Cardholders can likewise pay bills, shop online, and purchase over the phone and via the mail using funds in their linked transaction account. “The LANDBANK Visa Debit Card is part of our continuing effort to provide our cardholders with efficient and fast service by giving them freedom to access their money when they want, wherever they are,” said LANDBANK President and CEO Gilda Pico.

“Our partnership with LANDBANK is a testament to our commitment to provide more Filipinos with access to electronic payments. With over 4 million LANDBANK customers, including all government employees, the LANDBANK Visa Debit card will allow cardholders to leave their cash at home and make purchases wherever Visa is accepted, with the convenience and security associated with the Visa brand,” said Iain Jamieson, Visa Country Manager for the Philippines and Guam.

The Visa Debit Card eliminates the need to use cash for everyday purchases such as in gasoline stations, grocery stores, andrestaurants. It also provides cardholders with instant access to cash from LANDBANK ATMs and any ATM overseas that displays the Visa logo.

Cardholders who will shop with their LANDBANK Visa Debit Card from March 1 to April 30, 2014 at Visa accredited stores and establishments will get P100 rebate for a minimum purchase of P1,500. To avail of the rebate, cardholders should request for their card to be swiped using a Visa POS terminal. Rebate will be credited on the next banking day and cardholder is entitled to only one rebate per day regardless of the number of transactions made within the day.
