11th Philippine Youth Congress on Information Technology 2013

This 2013, the University of the Philippines System IT Foundation (UP SITF) is propelling itself to greater heights, as it celebrates the 11th year of the Philippine Youth Congress on Information Technology or Y4iT. With the theme “Y4iT XI: Imagine. Innovate. Inspire.”, the Y4iT XI will continue to serve as a meeting place for the best minds in IT, while giving participants a rare chance to know the latest IT breakthroughs, establish a network of contacts, and see how the field looks like

The Y4iT XI will be held on September 17-19 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. It is considered the country’s biggest gathering of IT experts and professionals, students and educators. Since it began in 2003, the conference has already drawn a total of 105,000 participants.

Y4iT envisions to empower the youth to break the barriers of today’s technology and create the technology of tomorrow. The Philippine Youth Congress on Information Technology will be an avenue for the youth to share information, build new ideas and converge to be future leaders in the industry, committed in the pursuit of excellence in IT in the country and around the world.

HERE ARE 4 EASY STEPS TO REGISTER

Step 1: SIGN UP

1. Go to http://y4it.org. Click Register Here.

2. Click Sign Up, fill out the form, then click Submit.

3. Check your email for the activation link.

4. Click the link to activate account.

Step 2: REGISTRATION

1. Click Log in and supply the required details.

2. Choose either Individual or Group Registration.

3. Fill out the form, then click Confirm Registration Details.

For group registration, download and fill out the .xls form

Upload the .xls form, then click Confirm Registration Details.

Step 3: PAYMENT

Fees:

Early Bird: Individual - Php600.00

Standard: Individual - Php700.00

Group of 50 to 99 - Php650.00 per head/day

Group of 100 and up - Php600.00 per head/day

You may either pay through any Landbank branch

1. Print Registration Summary Page.

2. Deposit your registration fee (amount indicated on the Registration Summary Page) at the bank with the following details:

Bank: Landbank of the Philippines
Account Name: UP System IT Foundation, Inc. or UP SITF, Inc
Account Number: 3072-1003-60

3. Scan the bank deposit slip.

4. Upload the scanned copy of the bank deposit slip to the Y4iT Online Registration System.

5. You will be redirected to the dashboard, where your payment status and registration information are indicated.

6. Notify the Y4iT Secretariat of the payment made.

7. Check your Y4iT registration account for payment updates.

Or at the UPSITF office

1. Print Registration Summary Page.

2. Present it to the Y4iT Secretariat at the UP SITF office.

3. Pay the amount indicated in the registration summary sheet or as computed by the Y4iT Secretariat.

4. The UP SITF will issue an official receipt. Upon issuance of receipt, the registration representative will change your registration status to PAID.

5. You may already claim your passes from the Secretariat.

6. For payment verification, check your Y4iT registration account.

7. Check your Y4iT registration account for payment updates.
