The Philippines will be marking its 115th Independence Day celebration this coming June 12, which falls on a Wednesday. This year's theme for the 115th Araw ng Kalayaan is "Ambagan tungo sa Malawakang Kaunlaran." Kalayaan 2013 strives to '"bring faith, family values, and the bayanihan spirit to build a better Filipino community." This year's events include a book fair, job fair, free medical/dental services and even a free train rides via MRT/LRT.
