Staff Officer III/SG 19-20

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education : Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Training : 24 hours relevant training
Experience : 3 years relevant experience
Eligibility : Career Service Professional or any appropriate eligibility for second level position
Basic Function: 
  • Responsible for conducting the day to day operations of the Network and Workstation Department.
  • This job entails technical assistance through support, troubleshooting, health checks and maintenance of all systems related to the provision and performance of the networks.
Preference : 
  • With ITIL certification 
  • 4 years relevant experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of CISCO, HP, AVAYA PABX and other network equipment.
  • 4 years relevant experience in WAN and LAN installation, configuration and implementation
  • Knowledgeable in the IPAMS, Bandwidth accelerator, IPV6 appliance equipment

Basic Function: Responsible for assisting in preparing the technical documentations and implementing the application systems for organizational Information systems to improve business efficiency and productivity
Preference: 
  • Trainings in systems development life-cycle; Programming particularly, Java, Visual Basic, VB.Net, C, C++, Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Relevant experience in systems analysis and design, and development.

Educations : Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Management or in a related field preferably with Master’s Degree in Information Management, Technology Management, Computer Science, Business, Law, Management or in a related field
Training : 32 hours relevant training
Experience : 4 years relevant experience
Eligibility : Career Service Professional or any appropriate eligibility for second level position
Basic Function: Responsible for assisting in analysing, designing and implementing the application systems for organizational information systems to improve business efficiency and productivity.
Preference:  
At least 4 years’ experience in systems analysis and design, and systems application development particularly in SAP ABAP.
At least 1 year supervisory experience in project implementation and deployment of application systems.
