In celebration of National Shelter Month for the year 2013, the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC), in collaboration with key agencies and Government Financial Institutions (GFI's) like SSS, GSIS, DBP, BSP, NHA, Pag-IBIG Fund, SHFC, NHMFC, HGC, HLURB organized a fair to provide Filipino families with decent and affordable housing units.
With the theme “Gaganda ang Buhay sa Sariling Bahay”, the fair will showcase over 50 private housing exhibitors such as AMAIA Land Corp., New San Jose Builders, Inc., DMCI Homes, Federal Land, Inc., and Moldex Realty Inc. which will provide brand new housing units from their existing projects.
Aside from these developers, thousands of acquired properties from GFIs like the Social Security System, Development Bank of the Philippines and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) will also be available.
The target market of the fair are government staffs, private workers sector, as well as Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).
There will also be a “Dulugang Bayan”, an open forum wherein officials led by Vice President and Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) chaiman Jejomar Binay will answer queries and issues on housing and related topics from the public.
