TALENTED amateur singers from all over the country
will have more time to prepare with the extension of the registration
deadline for the OPM@PAGCOR 2 – A Nationwide Search for the Total OPM
Performer.
The
Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and the
Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) decided to stretch the
cut-off date for the acceptance of applicants until the actual audition
dates to be held in different branches of Casino Filipino.
Walk-in
applicants will be entertained during the actual audition provided they
present complete documentary requirements. The audition dates are as
follows: Casino Filipino Cebu on May 7; Casino Filipino Bacolod on May
9; Casino Filipino Davao on May 11; Casino Filipino Tagaytay on May 15;
Casino Filipino Angeles on May 19 and Airport Casino Filipino on May 25,
2012 for the participants from Metro Manila.

2 applicants also have the option to submit their registration forms
online through opm.pagcor2@gmail.com or opm.pagcor2@yahoo.com.ph.
The
OPM@PAGCOR 2 is open to all amateur singers, Filipino or with dual
citizenship, between 18 to 30 years old as of May 1, 2012. They should
not have won any major prize in any national singing contest.
Prizes
at stake are P300,000 and a performance contract worth P500,000 for the
Grand Winner; P200,000 for 2nd placer with a P400,000 worth of
performance contract; and P100,000 for 3rd placer with a performance
contract worth P300,000. The rest of the grand finalists will each
receive P20,000 as consolation prize.
